Singer Sewing Machine Guarantee

This guarantee applies to all brand new and ex-display Singer sewing machines supplied by Singer Sewing Outlet. It covers your machine for service or repair required within 2 years of purchase.

If your order includes a 10 year guarantee, please view the 10 year guarantee information which includes the terms and conditions of this offer.

Official manufacturer guarantee endorsed by Singer UK.

Please keep the original packaging (outer box and polystyrene inner to protect your machine if it ever needs to be returned for repair or service.

Coverage

This guarantee covers Singer domestic sewing machines sold in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man. Defects in the machine or accessories arising from faulty materials or workmanship will be repaired free of charge. If repair is not practical or economical, Singer Sewing Outlet or Singer UK will replace the machine with the same or a comparable model. Liability for consequential damage, direct or indirect, is excluded.

Exclusions

This guarantee does not apply:

  • If the machine has been serviced other than by a Singer-authorised engineer, or fitted with non-Singer parts.
  • If used for profit, trade, or outside normal domestic use.
  • If used on an incorrect voltage or supply circuit.
  • To parts requiring replacement due to normal wear, or faults caused by negligence or misuse.
  • If the plug is not fitted and fused as instructed.
  • To consumables such as needles or light bulbs.
  • To transportation charges.
  • If the product was purchased second-hand.
  • To adjustments or maintenance that are the customer’s responsibility (including timing adjustments).
  • To any machine other than the first retail purchaser’s.
  • To damage caused by not following the operating instructions, or by accidental/deliberate misuse.

How to Claim

If your machine requires service or repair under this guarantee, please complete the online form singersewingoutlet.co.uk/support in order for the Singer UK Support team to contact you with support/advice.

For the first 6 months after delivery, we will cover collection and redelivery costs of machines at UK mainland addresses. Please ensure you keep the original packaging to allow safe transport.

This is a 2-year manufacturer guarantee provided by Singer UK. It applies to personal/domestic purchases only and does not affect your statutory rights.
