Set it to your measurements and it stops being a mannequin. It becomes you.

Bust, waist, hips, back length. Eleven adjusters, wound to your own numbers, and suddenly the thing standing in the corner of the room is the right shape. You can see the hem. You can pin the back. You can walk round it.

And when you change, it changes with you. That is the part a fixed mannequin cannot do. Bodies move about over the years, and a form you set once now is still the right shape in 3 years time - loosen a couple of wheels, take your measurements again, and it is you once more.

Sewing for somebody else? Dial in their measurements instead, make the thing, hand it over fitting first time. Then wind it back to you.

We've worked with Adjustoform for over a decade and and this year, to celebrate Singer's 175th anniversary, we asked them to build us something that really follows the direction of the Singer brand - Robust, easy to use and great value. This dress form is available in two colourways: Singer Heritage Red and Heavy Duty Grey.

New for 2027 with heavy duty fabrics and an anti-warping core. A dress form that gets reset every twelve months is only worth owning if it still measures what it says on the tenth reset. The core holds the body true instead of letting it slowly go out of true, so the numbers you set are the numbers you get, years in. The fabrics have been designed to withstand pin after pin for years.

Eleven adjusters rather than the usual eight. A heavy duty eight-part body. And the back length moves on its own, which is what separates a form that is nearly your shape from one that is your shape.

MADE IN THE UK

Two forms cover UK dress sizes 6 to 16 (size A) and 12 to 24 (size B), and both rise to 180cm on the four-footed stand, so you work standing up.

Suitable for everyone, beginners included. Straightforward enough for a first project, built well enough for a working dressmaker.

Which one do I need?

Go by your measurements, not your dress size. If your bust is over 101cm, your waist over 84cm, or your hips over 106cm, you want the UK 12-24 (B). otherwise if smaller the UK 6-16 (A) is yours.

Been in hospital since she arrived but have had to wait for my husband to take her out of the box and assemble her as I am not able to lift or bend. She looks super especially as I have the wheeled base for her. I’ve managed to adjust her to my measurements and can’t wait to get back to my sewing and using her.

I like to create by draping on the stand. I Love the size range this mannequin can go through. The fabric covering is very ‘catchy’ which means it will hold onto lots of fabrics and bit and pieces for you before pinning, for me this is useful. Easy to pin. Easy to change size. Feels a little flimsy in places and the odd bit not perfectly aligned but I think that comes from being so adjustable and it’s not a problem as long as you treat her with respect. I’m really pleased with this item!

As a first time user of a mannequin, I did need the instructions to be a little more detailed. I finally sort of figured it out with the help of you tube and an online chat with Singer. It now represents my sizing and is fortunately very sturdy. I am very pleased with it now and can't wait to get started!

Great dress form, easy to put up and adjust. Very sturdy, yet to use it due to issue mentioned below but very much looking forward to when I get the chance. Worth the wait and communication was good when I reached out regarding the delivery. 4 stars due to there being something like dried adhesive on the dress form (images below) and I've asked for advice on how to remove this with no response yet.
