Collection: Singer 3342 Accessories

This collection is for owners of the Singer Fashion Mate 3342, a mechanical machine that handles dressmaking and light quilting equally well.

For quilting, the three feet to own are a 1/4 inch foot for piecing, a walking foot for quilting through the layers and a free motion or darning foot for stippling. Schmetz quilting needles in 75/11 and 90/14 suit cotton patchwork. For dressmaking, an invisible zipper foot and blind hem foot cover most garments.

The 3342 takes Class 15 bobbins and standard 130/705H needles. A storage box of 28 bobbins is handy if you work in several thread colours.

Set the stitch length a little longer when using the walking foot. It gives a neater line through thick layers.
