A zipper foot can push the piping out of line. This foot holds the piping in place even through the thick layers for fabric I was using. very happy with the result
I think this machine is brilliant my partner chose the manual one rather than the digital and it was fantastic to sew with. Mind boggling how many things it can do. I have also been buying from singer as has my partner for accessories and you get them pretty quickly and I would definitely encourage you to look at this site and the machines and accessories they have on offer.
