Gutermann Maraflex Elastic Sewing Thread 150m - Calico (#802)

Gutermann Maraflex is a high-stretch sewing thread for flexible seams sewn with an ordinary straight stitch. The seam can stretch by up to 80%, so it holds up on knits and stretchy fabrics where standard thread would snap.

• Length: 150m spool
• Thickness: No. 120, made with micro core technology (MCT)
• Needle: jersey/stretch, size 70/80
• Use as both top and bobbin thread, with the tension as low as possible
• Best seam stretch at 4 stitches per cm
• Care: wash at 60 degrees, tumble dry medium, hot iron, bleach allowed

Good for necklines, close-fitting seams and sleeve or leg cuffs on light to medium-weight jersey, knitwear and fabrics containing elastane.
