Terms of use

Fair use. Your access is for your own personal use. Please don't share your link. The Live Sewing Advisor has a daily limit on questions for each pass, and an overall daily limit, to keep it quick for everyone. If you hit a limit, try again the next day. We may suspend a pass that is shared, resold, scraped or used automatically, or in a way that affects the service for others.

The use of AI. The Live Sewing Advisor is an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant. It has been given our interactive manuals and general sewing knowledge. It is not a person. It is designed to be accurate but it can make mistakes, so check anything important against your manual and test settings on a scrap of fabric first. It is not a substitute for a qualified engineer. It will never advise opening your machine or electrical work. If your machine is damaged, smells of burning or sparks, stop using it and have it checked by a qualified person. Your questions and any photos you send are processed by our AI provider to produce the answers, and we keep a record to improve the service and prevent misuse. Please don't send personal information in your questions or photos.

Digital content. Access starts as soon as the link is sent. By buying, you agree that it starts straight away and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access has begun. If something isn't working, contact us and we'll put it right.

Availability. We aim to keep the manuals and the Live Sewing Advisor available at all times, but there may occasionally be short interruptions. Manuals are our own interactive versions, based on the manufacturer's instructions with enhanced content.
