The form requires basic assembly, but no tools are required. When adjusting the product, remember to crank each dial evenly as there is a tension system in place. To expand up or down multiple sizes, we suggest that you turn each dial a little bit in order, and then go back and adjust each one a bit more.

The dress form arrived quickly and well packaged with instructions and a one year guarantee. It is adjustable, as described. The hemmer is absolutely great and I’ve just finished my first dress using the form. As an amateur sewer I have never used a dress form before. The only way it could be improved is to have a smoother material as a covering fabric. The red felt-like material makes clothing it in a linen dress difficult.

When I researched buying a dressmakers dummy, experienced users said buy in the size that works for your under bust measurement. If you then need to increase the size of the bust beyond the dummies adjustment you add a bra and padding (I have used fabric scraps) then I put an old sport top with lines down the side over this. Have used this set up to make two dresses which fit me perfectly around the bust. The purchasing process from Live Sewing was easy and the delivery very quick.

Exactly what I wanted an adjustable dress form (Mannequin), an excellent sewing tool. This is the most useful addition to my sewing kit, I would never be without one.
