Description

The bernette Funlock 44 is an overlocker machine that brings stylish simplicity, and practical functions together to allow you to do all types of overlock sewing in an easily achievable manner.

With 15 different stitches available, with two, three, and four threads, you have flexibility when selecting the stitches for your project. The colour coded, open thread path makes threading easier as you simply follow the markings on the machine, and with a needle threader, and lower looper threading mechanism you remove all the hassle from setting up.

Able to sew with speeds of up to 1300-stitches-per-minute, it can speed through projects with power and efficiency. Also, able to sew and cut through thick fabric with ease, it provides flexible and precise overlocking.

The differential feed always ensures smooth seams on knitted fabrics, and crimp-free seams with fine fabrics. You can easily adjust the settings to create crimps and ruffles, where wanted, for even more decorative options.

With an included waste collector, you can easily catch the seam allowances that are cut off during sewing, making clearing up afterwards stress free. It also includes a looper cover that can store the overlocker accessories you need to hand; with a separate storage box to keep everything else in one place.

Great for sewing thicker pieces of fabric together, the many functions and accessories of this overlocker make it a great piece of kit for those looking for a capable and robust machine.

I love almost everything about this overlocker - easy to thread (I used the tie in method) and very fast and efficient. Only problem I have is with the cutting width which doesn’t adjust as much as it should and customer support are taking a very long time to get back to me with suggestions on how to fix it. It's super easy to figure out, thread and when I broke the needle on the 2nd day but stupidly sewing over a metal zipper it was very easy to fix with the manual and included spare needles. It's Sews effortlessly through several layers of thick upholstery material and denim. I'm so impressed and don't know how I managed for so long using my sewing machine to overlock.
