The Singer M24 is the perfect sewing machine for beginners thanks to its simplicity, and ergonomic design that promotes good posture. It's large sewing area and easy-to-use nature makes it very popular where people are learning to sew but also has some great features to grow into.

Being a Singer, it's packed with plenty of features to make learning to sew easier than ever before. This includes a selection of 10 different stitches that can be chosen simply by turning a dial. Stitch length control and zigzag width control gives you the creative mastery over your project to get exactly the desired effect.

The extra high presser foot lift offers more clearance under the presser foot so you can sew bulkier fabrics without hassle or worry of bunching, and the full metal frame keeps the sewing machine steady when doing so. Despite this, it remains lightweight and extremely portable.

With a free arm, you can sew collars, cuffs, hems and other usually hard to reach areas with greater ease. You can use the machine for free motion sewing and the included darning plate helps with this.

Quick and easy threading comes from guided threaded system, designed to quickly as easily fill a bobbin, and thread the needle ready for sewing.

    I had no clue how to use a machine and after a couple days of trial and many errors I finally got the hand of how to use it. I have had the machine about month now and made face masks for the family and a cushion for a friends birthday. It does when it needs to. I wish it had a foot for free motion sewing/embroidery though. Overall pleased.

    I’ve wanted a new machine for such a long time and lockdown prompted me to treat myself! Easy to use, sews really well! Have bought a few extras such as needles suitable for stretch fabric, hemming foot etc ... a great machine suitable for beginners or more proficient sewing jobs! Good value for money I think! Easy apron to start! Wrap dress in progress!

    I think the machine runs very smoothly. I think the foot pedal is a bit flimsy - it does not sit solidly on the floor. I had trouble finding the manual on line and also downloading it. Have completed a pair of curtains and am reasonably pleased with the machine for the cost.

    I buy a lot of both Industrial and Domestic Machines as I am a Sewing Machine Mechanic and I was really surprised that the Invoices which came with my 2 Machines said £89 each but I was charged at least £150 each for my Machines, as a Trader can I receive machines cheaper than what I paid as I phoned through to Singer to complain but they said they only send the machines but don’t set the prices

But then I red the instructions and started working on a small project and I loved it!! Absolutely loved it! So easy and intuitive to use, great performance, so quiet!!     I have the machine for a bit of time now and only tried out during the week. I am totally new to sewing and wanted a machine so that when I needed to fix an helm trouser it would be easier that doing just by hand, I bought this model based on the other reviews and I have managed to set up the thread twice and also did a trouser. Well it certainly simplifie the task really well and at least it will stick up. I am very proud of me as first time i used a sewing machine and didnt do any mess while using it. I am sure that I will improve my skill over the time. I would definitely recommend this model. i have only gave 4 stars as only tried a little.
