The Singer M16 sewing machine is a strong but lightweight and portable machine, ideal for home sewing for beginners to intermediate sewers.

The M16 has an aluminium frame, giving it strength while keeping the machine light and portable.

Whether you're sewing new fashion garments, creating unique quilts or simply mending, the M16 is a great choice. All the main basic stitches for key sewing techniques are included: straight stitch, zigzag, blind hem stitch, multi-step zigzag, decorative scallop and a four-step buttonhole. Stitch selection is easy too - just turn the stitch selector dial to suit your task.

The M16 has easily adjustable thread tension to fine-tune the look of your stitch, and an extra high presser foot lift gives more clearance under the presser foot - ideal for bulkier fabrics or layers. The long-lasting LED light brightly illuminates your sewing area for best results and accuracy as you work, and simple-to-follow threading guides for winding the bobbin and threading the upper thread are conveniently marked on the machine.

A slow-to-fast variable speed foot control makes controlling the machine a breeze. Simply press down on the pedal to go faster, and ease off to slow down to as little as one stitch per second.
