The Singer M26 is a sewing machine for beginners and advanced sewers alike. Lightweight and portable with an array of features to help make sewing easier, it is often found at schools and other educational facilities because of its ease of use.

Choose one of the 21 built-in stitch selections at the simple twist of a dial, and with stitch length control too, you can make sure you have the perfect settings for what you’re working on. Adjustable thread tensions can help you fine tune the look of your thread too, so you can get a clean and consistent look on all of your pieces.
The automatic needle threader removes the fiddly frustration of trying to find the eye of the needle, and an extra high foot lift means you can clear bulkier fabrics under the presser foot without an issue. An LED light illuminates your sewing area for a clear and visible workspace at all times to make sure you can focus on the small details.

My new sewing machine is amazing.
It is easy to use .the diagrams on the machine are a great help. And the extras are handy. But it would be easier to use the machine if it had a leaflet to explain everything because if you haven't got a computer you are unable to use it.
I have only managed to use it once before I came away on holiday but found it quite easy to use and very smooth, only thing I couldn’t get to work was the needle threader but I think I just need to practice,
Absolutely love the machine slight issue with the instruction booklet (I misunderstood) but was explained fully over the phone the lady I spoke to she couldn’t have been more helpful

Machine is simple to use but a little plasticky eg the clip on tray isn’t always willing to clip. Having said that it’s simple to thread and use so happy with it.
Great machine. Had a Singer inherited from my mother. It lasted over 60 years, hope I can pass this one on! Only gripe is the instruction sheet. Had to download the pdf to get more detailed & clearer instructions.
I love my new machine. The ergonomic feel to the sewing surface makes it a pleasure to use. I have only used a straight stitch so far and can report that it is of good quality and easy to use. My favourite thing is that the threading instructions are printed on the machine; whoever included this in the design needs a pay rise!

This was bought particularly for my husband as he wants to learn how to make his own clothes. He has almost zero knowledge of the subject but is keen. His close up eyesight is not quite good enough to thread a needle so an automatic threader would have been ideal but generally they were a little more upmarket. The self threader is the ideal compromise and he doesn't a happy hour last evening filling bobbin after bobbin, threading the needle, and stitching on scrap fabric, learning about stitch length and reversing at the end of a seam. Success! He is very happy with his new toy
The machine is generally excellent. as I was setting it up some thread got knotted around the needle/shuttle are. Tried turning the manual handle and this is made of plastic which just deformed. I was not forcing it to turn that hard. disappointing as I have now had to make my own hand turning handle even for starting on two layers of thin cotton. That apart really love it.
I bought this as a surprise for my mother and she loves it. She hasn’t used a sewing machine since was younger and found this model easy to use. It is also sturdy but light enough for her to carry around. A perfect buy. Would definitely recommend.
