Read lots of reviews on various sites & this came up lots as reliable & not too expensive, having owned an overlocker 30 years ago I was very rusty but YouTube is a bible for help. It’s took a few goes mastering threading with tweezers but it’s no problem now. I’ve just retired & i am making lots of my clothes again (back to my 1980s days) I’m loving this overlocker it’s been a great purchase so far.
I already have a singer sewing machine so it made sense to buy a singer overlocker. I have never used an overlocker before and this is a brilliant machine! I would highly recommend buying this. It's excellent if you are a total beginner like myself. It's definitely worth investing in.
I’m very new to overlocking but was able to thread it properly after 2 attempts! Which is great. I played about with a piece of material and the different tension and have got it the right fit for that fabric. I cannot wait the explore all the options that this machine will give. Great service and a very sturdy machine.
Great service from Singer. Overlocker is everything it needs to be, easy to set up, use and pack away. The overlocker is simple to set up/thread and very easy to use, the waste catcher net is brilliant. The carry case is ideal for storage. Highly recommend.

I had never used an overlocker before it was my birthday present from hubby. The package was just right it brought loads of lovely accessories to go with it. My first few tries were right but on my third try I was overambitious and forgot to put foot down so I got myself in a bit of a pickle to cut a long story short I ended up unthreading it. To tell truth I had heard they are difficult to thread etc etc. I sat down with the manual and a youtube video from singer Australia I found and within 8 minutes machine was threaded and I was sewing again. Sewed a jersey dress in 10 minutes. Definitely a best buy.
Brilliant machine, love the tension system so easy to thread, a little noisy but all overlockers are noisy. Brilliant on a double coverlock on hems a really professional finish

Love my Singer Heavy Duty Overlocker - easy to thread and as it is heavy duty it will tackle any type of material.
Very pleased with machine. Accessory drawer a bit stiff but hope it will loosen up. Just need to get to grips with all the functions which may take me a while!! Good machine. Excellent service and fast delivery
I bought this overlocker with some trepidation as I haven't used one before. I did some research and found a Youtube video by a young woman which reviewed the machine. I therefore ordered one and was very pleased with the speed with which it arrived. It is of a high standard and after having a lesson locally I have been using my overlocker and am delighted with the results. The threads, and carrying bag were of good quality. I didn't like the free sewing kit. I thought that it was of inferior quality and something that one could buy very cheaply. It therefore went straight into a charity shop bag. Everything else I was very happy with though. Good service, excellent machine and I was happy with the price and deal.
